By Staff Correspondent, Dhaka – A fire broke out at a multi-storey shopping complex in Dhaka on Saturday morning, according to firefighters.
Eleven fire engines rushed to the scene to control the blaze at Sundarban Square Market in downtown Gulistan, said Talha Bin Jashim, spokesperson for the Fire Service and Civil Defence Department.
Firefighters are working to extinguish the flames, which originated on the fifth floor of the building. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
Sundarban Square Market houses numerous shops, primarily selling electronics and their accessories.
