Chief Adviser of the interim administration Muhammad Yunus will attend the 79th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) later this month. His visit will be brief one, Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain said on Sunday.
The date of Chief Adviser's departure for New York was not finalised yet, he told reporters in Dhaka.
Hossain said he will discuss Chief Adviser's engagements at the UNGA with him ahead of the planned trip.
The Foreign Affairs Adviser also indicated that Yunus may participate in a limited number of sideline meetings while in New York.
