Dhaka – Zahira Rahman, mother of renowned architect and town planner Khondker Neaz Rahman, died of old-age complications at her residence on Tuesday night.
She was 82.
Zahira left behind her three sons and grandchildren, said a press release.
She retired as senior lecturer from capital’s University Laboratory School and College.
Her body has been kept at Combined Military Hospital mortuary. She will be buried at her husband’s grave following a namaz-e-janaza at Banani graveyard on Thursday after her two children return home from abroad.
