Dhaka – Bangladesh’s state-run Biman Bangladesh Airlines has suspended two flights after Kuwaiti authorities banned flights with Bangladesh and six other countries for a week in the wake of coronavirus outbreak that killed more than 3,000 people across the globe.
The Civil Aviation Authorities of Bangladesh in a press release on Saturday informed that one of the flights was scheduled for Saturday and the other was for Tuesday. Both of them were suspended.
Kuwait suspended all flights to and from Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Bangladesh, Philippines, India, and Sri Lanka for a week starting.
The country also banned entry of anyone who has been in the seven countries in the last two weeks except for Kuwaitis coming from the seven countries, who will be allowed entry but will have to submit to quarantine procedures.
