Three suspected militants arrested in Sirajganj
Sirajganj – Police have arrested three suspected Islamist militants in northern Bangladeshi district of Sirajganj, officials said on Tuesday.
The suspects, reportedly members of Jamaatul Mujahedeen Bangladesh, were picked from Hatikumrul area of the district at the early hours of the day.
Police identified them as Sanaullah, Liakat Ali and Barkat Ullah, son of Abu Baker Siddique, said officer Wahiduzzaman.
He added that the lawmen conducted a raid in the area following information and arrested the three siblings.
The suspects were wanted in several cases with local police stations, said the police officer.
