
Dhaka – Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will exchange eid-greetings with the cross section of people on Monday at her official Gonobhaban residence as the nation prepares for celebrating Muslims festival of Eid-al-Adha, officials said.
Political leaders and activists, cultural activists, judges, eminent persons and foreign diplomats stationed in Dhaka are among the invitees.
Hasina, also the chief of ruling Awami League party, will exchange greetings with the people of all section from 10 am to 11 am at Ganabhaban, PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim said.
Later, she will exchange meet the judges, the cabinet secretary, the chiefs of the three services, foreign diplomats, senior secretaries and secretaries and other civil and military officials whose status is equivalent to secretaries from 11 am at the same venue, according to state-run Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha news agency.
The Prime Minister arrived in Dhaka on Thursday from London after nearly three-week stay in the United Kingdom on an official visit.
