Dhaka – The photographs of seven out of 12 suspected militants, killed in anti-extremist raids in Tangail, Dhaka and Gazipur, have been published with the law enforcement calling the people Monday to ensure their identity.
Police sent the photos to the media outlets and published them on Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s website, two days after the militants were killed in raids on Saturday.
The seven suspects, who were killed in Patertek area of Gazipur, are seen clad in civilian dresses and they are young in terms of age.
“It is very important to know about their real identities for proper investigation,” a statement published by the police department said.
The statement also requested the citizens to give more information about the slain militants. They are suggested to post information through the police’s social media accounts or Hello CT mobile application. They can also contact directly the police unit of Gazipur.
