Magnitude 4.3 tremor jolts Bangladesh

Dhaka – A mild earthquake jolted Bangladesh on early Friday with no damage reported, according to UC Berkeley seismology lab.
The lab reported the quake was felt at 5.57 am local time at 4.3 magnitude on Richter Scale near the capital Dhaka.
Bangladesh Meteorological department also reported about the earthquake in a press release. It said the quake’s epicenter was Dohar, approximately 30 km away from East South East of BMD Seismic Centre, Agargaon, Dhaka.
Panic gripped among many Dhaka residents as they posted earthquake on social media platforms and sought the Gold’s blessing.
