JCI Dhaka West’s “Project Biborton 2.0” has organized several online webinars to raise awareness on the importance of mental and physical well-being. The important topics discussed in the online webinar held on July 26, 2021, at 8 pm are: Ways of managing emotions, identifying negative thoughts, sleep, eating and anxiety disorders, disagreement and hesitation control, and mindfulness practice.
Ms. Khadiza Mouri, Mental Health Professional, Certified Practitioner of CBT, NLP, EMDR and TA was the speaker at this first webinar. It was conducted by JCI Dhaka West’s 2021 Local Vice President Ms.Subah Afrin.
The recent pandemic has disrupted both the physical and mental well being of the people in general and it is of utmost importance to focus on the key factors of our mental health.
Physical exercise enhances immunity, improves sleep, and reduces stress which plays a significant role in combating anxiety and depression during the time. Khadiza Mouri spoke of ways to cope with negativity, conflicts resolution, depression, home office effects, and simple mental exercises along with key focus on mindfulness.
Four online webinars will be held between July and August on the steps to be taken to reduce this stress and fatigue. One of webinars will be focused on physical well-being and the others are aimed towards mental health.
