
Dhaka – Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has reached in Canada to attend the 5th Global Fund Replenishment Conference in Montreal, officials said Friday.
On completion of the conference in Montreal, Hasina will leave for New York, United States to join the 71st United Nations General Assembly.
In Canada, she is expected to hold a bilateral meeting with the Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
The GF’s Replenishment Conference is scheduled to start on Friday to further mobilize efforts to end the world’s most epidemic devastating diseases – AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria- by 2030.
Hasina, in the first leg of the visit, left Dhaka Wednesday morning for the British capital London on way to Montreal as she was on an 11-day official trip to the United States and Canada.
In the second leg, Hasina will visit the United States from September 18 to 25 to join the 71st session of the United Nations General Assembly. She is likely to return home on September 26.
