
Sirajganj: Detective police have detained four suspected female suicide-squad members of banned militant outfit Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from Baraigram of Sirajganj.
The detainees included a mother and her two daughters.
The detainees are – Folera Khatun, wife of one Abu Sayeed, their daughters- Shakila Khatun and Salma Khatun, and Razia, wife of Rafiqul Islam of the same village.
District Police Superintendent Miraz Uddin said, a police team, led by Detective Branch Officer-in-Charge (OC) M Wahiduzzaman and Second Officer Sub-Inspector Rawshan Ali raided the house of listed JMB leader Faridul in the village Sunday night and detained them with jihadi books.
The detainees are members of JMB suicide squad and were ready to attack on call from JMB high ups, the police super added.
Allude to detectives detained four more female JMB members raiding another house in Masumpur village of the district town on July 24.
