Bangladesh now has eight cases of coronavirus

Dhaka – Bangladesh has now eight cases of coronavirus positive after three more persons were detected to have contacted the deadly pathogen.

Dr Meerjady Sabrina Flora of Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) said in Dhaka on Monday that three more persons were diagnosed with Covis-19.

Two of the newly infected persons are children they are family member of a previously infected person, she said. Ten other persons were taken to isolation, she said.

Flora once again urged the returnees from abroad to remain in self-quarantine to prevent spread of the virus.
