Bangladesh mourns death of Castro

Dhaka – Bangladeshi President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minster Sheikh Hasina on Saturday expressed deep condolence at the death of former Cuban leader Fidel Castro.

The communist leader died in Havana at the age of 90.

In a message, President Abdul Hamid said the death of Fidel Castro will create a vacuum in the politics of world which will never be fulfilled.

“The people of the world would always remember his contribution to the struggle for realizing the rights of exploited people of the world,” he added.

He prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the people of Cuba and its government.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in separate message also expressed condolence at the death of the revolutionary leader.
