Chittagong – Bangladesh have concentrated on the victory against Australia on the second test match, scheduled to begin in Chittagong Monday, after their maiden win against Aussies in Dhaka last week.
Rain confined the players into indoor practice although they had an out-door exercise session on the Eid-day Saturday.
Captain Mushfiqur Rahim and Coach Chandika Hathurusingha inspected the wicket Sunday to understand whether they would depend on the spinners as they did in the Dhaka test.
“The visitors might be under pressure, but Australia as an experienced team can make a turnaround at any time,” said captain adding that Austria now could understand how fitting Bangladesh could be on its own grounds.
“We will definitely try to continue the patience we had shown in the first match,” Rahim added.
Tigers’ concentration is to make the series 2-0. Bangladesh earlier won the match at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla stadium by 20 runs.
The team is now in high spirit.
Australia cricket team rolled on the practice field just one hour after Bangladesh team finished their session.
Australia Vs Bangladesh Test series have resumed after 11 long years. Bangladesh team has taken the series very seriously.
