Bangladesh Army Chief General Aziz Ahmed, a man with feathers on his cap, added one more — a Doctorate degree — and is the first to have such an honour in the top military position.
The PhD degree is on “Border Management Challenges of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB): Issues in Transnational Threat,” a topic on which he has first-hand knowledge as former Director-General of the BGB.
A few days ago Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also the defence minister, decorated him with the prestigious “Sena Padok” (Army Medal).
The PhD degree was approved at the academic council and syndicate meeting of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP), according to a press release
