In an interview with AFP, UgurShaheen said that the approval and marketing of the coronavirus vaccine in the United States and Europe are possible before 2021. Meanwhile, Pfizer-Biontech said on Wednesday that the coronavirus vaccine would be 95% successful, safe and protect elderly people from dying from the coronavirus. They added that the vaccine is 94 percent successful in people over the age of 65.
Moderna, another US pharmaceutical company, said its coronavirus vaccine was 94.5% successful and that the European Union had initially agreed to order 160 million doses. Pfizer-Biontech and Modern are at the forefront of coronavirus vaccine inventions in the world.
