Author, social activist and tech evangelist Md. Altamis Nabil was awarded the Asian Youth Leadership Award at the 2022 Asian International Youth Summit held at the Seva Kendra Calcutta, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. At the summit held on September 3-4, young leaders from asian continents were participated in this summit. The summit was organized by Global Youth Platform & Lions Club International. Nabil was awarded in recognition of his commendable contribution to the skill development of the youth of Bangladesh. Former West Bengal Member of Parliament Mr. Alakesh Das was present as the chief guest on the occasion.
Commenting on the award, Altamis Nabil said, “This international recognition received in the beloved city of Kolkata will act as an encouragement to work on the problems and inconsistencies of the society and also contribute on enhancing the skills of the youth worldwide, including Bangladesh, keeping in mind the sustainable development goals of the United Nations.”
Altamis Nabil is currently serving the role of head of managed services at a multinational company called Miaki. He is also the current President of Junior Chamber International-JCI Dhaka West. He also established a social initiative called B. Positive Foundation. So far few of his books have been published in Bangladesh & India. Besides, he is conducting various workshops for the youth across the country on various topics including personal branding, content writing, application monetization.
