Altamis Nabil elected as vice president of JCI Bangladesh

Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh has made its new national executive committee for the year 2023 in the recently held national general assembly of the organisation in a hotel at Dhaka. In the committee, Md Altamis Nabil has been elected as the new vice president of the national organization.

In this new committee, young entrepreneur Md Ziaul Haque Bhuiyan has been elected as the new national president of Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh and media personality Imran Kadir has become the new deputy national president. The voting was held at the general assembly of the organisation’s Bangladesh branch at a hotel in Dhaka on Sunday, JCI Bangladesh said in a statement. The New board will be serving for the tenure of 2023. JCI Bangladesh Past President Sarah Kamal conducted the election, as election Commissioner. Niaz Morshed Elite, the 2022 JCI Bangladesh National President congratulated the new board in his speech.

Altamis Nabil began his professional career after achieving a degree in electrical & electronic engineering from the Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology. Nabil is currently working as Head of Managed Services in Miaki Media Limited. He is also the founder of social initiative B. Positive Foundation. Also being an Author, independent Filmmaker and a trainer he has impacted on tons of youth’s life. Earlier in JCI, he has worked as the Local President of JCI Dhaka West in 2022 & also honored as a JCI Senator.

‘The main goal of this youth-oriented organization JCI Bangladesh next year will be to actively participate in achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals throughout various initiatives lead by our local organizations & also JCI Bangladesh will focus on spreading youth development initiatives across the nation’, added by Nabil, the newly elected national vice president.

The organisation JCI is found in over 100 countries and has a membership of more than 200,000 across the world. JCI Bangladesh is running its operation in Bangladesh with 35 local organisations with member base of more than 4000 from all across the country.
