Dhaka – The number of novel coronavirus cases surpass 150,000 in Bangladesh with 4019 new cases reported on Thursday, according to health officials.
Nasima Sultana, additional director general of the government’s health directorate department, said the total number is now 153,277 in the South Asian country which reported the first three cases on March 8.
Thirty-eight people have been died in the last 24 hours ended on Thursday morning, raising the toll to 1,926, she said during an online news briefing at her office in Dhaka.
A total of 66,443 patients have been recovered with condition of 4,224 people improved at their homes or in hospitals, where they were undergoing treatment, according to the health official.
