Dhaka – The number of novel coronavirus cases has risen to 51 in Bangladesh with two more people diagnosed with the virus, officials said on Tuesday.
Two more men in their fifties were diagnosed with the virus in the last 24 hours ending on Tuesday morning, Meerjady Sabrina Flora of Bangladesh’s Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research said at an online press briefing.
One of the has recently returned from Saudi Arabia while the other has no record foreign travel, she said.
“We are trying to find out how the second one got infected,” she said, adding that both are doing well.
The official said that six more patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, rising the number of recovery of the illness to 25.
