Dhaka – On her return home ending the tri-nation visit, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will address at a news conference on her trip to Japan, Saudi Arabia and Finland on Sunday.
The news conference will be held at her official Gonobhaban residence at 5pm, said Ihsanul Karim, press secretary to the prime minister.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina returned home Saturday.
A Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight carrying the prime minister and her entourage members landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 10:55am.
Senior ministers, civil and military officials received the Prime Minister at the airport.
During her stay in Finland, Hasina had meeting with Finnish President Sauli Niinisto on June 4 and joined a community reception accorded to her by All European Awami League and Finland Awami League on June 5.
In Saudi Arabia, she attended the 14th OIC Summit 2019 held in Makkah at the invitation of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. She also performed the Umrah in Makkah and offered prayers at the grave of Prophet Muhammad in Madina.
In Tokyo, Hasina during her four-day stay in Japan, witnessed signing of the 40th ODA deal involving 2.5 billion dollars. She held a bilateral meeting with her Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe.
She attended the Nikkei International Conference on ‘The Future of Asia’ as a keynote speaker, joined a community reception accorded to her and attended a breakfast roundtable meeting with Japanese business leaders.
Hasina left Dhaka for Tokyo on May 28.
