Hasina left Saudi Arabia for Finland

Dhaka – At the final leg of her tri-nation visit, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has left Saudi Arabia for Finland on Monday.   

She is expected to arrive in Helsinki, the Finnish capital, in the afternoon local time after a brief stopover at Frankfurt of Germany.  

Hasina is scheduled to have a meeting with Finnish President Sauli Niinistö on June 4.

On May 28, the Prime Minister left Dhaka for Tokyo on a four-day visit, where she witnessed a signing ceremony of 40th ODA deal worth about 2.5 billion dollars after a bilateral meeting with her Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe.

She also attended the Nikkei International Conference on ‘The Future of Asia’ as a keynote speaker, joined a community reception accorded to her and attended a breakfast roundtable meeting with Japanese Business leaders.

Hasina left Japan for Saudi Arabia on May 31 to attend the 14th OIC Summit 2019 held in Makkah.

She attended OIC’s Islamic Summit in Makkah, performed the Umrah in Makkah and offer prayers at the grave of Prophet Muhammad in Madinah.

The Prime Minister is expected to return home on Saturday.
