Dhaka – Bangladesh Nationalist Party will hold the party’s policymaking standing committee meeting on Thursday, insiders said.
Party chief Khaleda Zia called the meeting Wednesday, a press wing member of the former prime minister said.
This will be the first meeting of the party after a new committee was announced recently following the March 19 national council.
The opposition party outside parliament has faced shake up after the announcement of the new leaders as many BNP veterans were dropped from their previous positions.
Khaleda is also scheduled to hold a meeting with the top leaders of her 20-party opposition alliance, said a source in the party.
