Pabna- At least five people were killed as a mini-truck collided with a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Bera sub-district of north-western Bangladeshi district of Pabna, police said on Monday.
The identities of the deceased could not be known yet.
Tajul Huda, officer in charge of Aminpur police station, told newsnextbd.com that a Pabna-bound sand-laden van collided head-on with a CNG-run auto-rickshaw as it reached near Ahmedpur at about 7:30am.
Four passengers of the auto-rickshaw killed on the scene while the other died at a hospital, he said.
Three women are among the victims. The bodies were kept to Pabna Medical College Hospital morgue.
