Road crash kills five in Pabna

Pabna- At least five people were killed as a mini-truck collided with a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Bera sub-district of north-western Bangladeshi district of Pabna, police said on Monday.

The identities of the deceased could not be known yet.

Tajul Huda, officer in charge of Aminpur police station, told that a Pabna-bound sand-laden van collided head-on with a CNG-run auto-rickshaw as it reached near Ahmedpur at about 7:30am.

Four passengers of the auto-rickshaw killed on the scene while the other died at a hospital, he said.

Three women are among the victims. The bodies were kept to Pabna Medical College Hospital morgue.
