Dhaka – A domestic flight of private US-Bangla airlines has made emergency landing at an airport in the south-eastern city of Chattogram, officials said.
All the passengers and members of the crew aboard the BS 141 flight, bound for Cox’s Bazar, were safe, manager of the Shah Amanat International Airport Sarwar E Jahan said.
The emergency landing was made at around 1.45pm.
The flight was carrying 164 passengers and seven crew to Cox’s Bazar from Dhaka.
Earlier in March, US Bangla flight (BS211) crashed in Nepal’s Tribhuvan International Airport killing 51 out of 71 people on board.
