Dhaka – Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to leave for Mongolia on Thursday to join the 11th ASEM (Asia-Europe Meeting) Summit to be held in Ulaanbaatar, officials said on Tuesday.
The summit is likely to address current terrorist attack across the world which has been emerged as the global menace that could not be tolerated at all.
Hasina will address the international community in the Summit that her government shows zero tolerance to root out the terrorism and militancy.
The Prime Minister will attend a series of important meetings during her three-day official visit, said an official at the Foreign Ministry.
Hasina is also scheduled to meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Mongolian President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, Myanmar President Htin Kyaw, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, top leaders of the European Union (EU) and Italy, according to her itinerary .
Hasina is scheduled to return home on July 16.
