Bogra – At least two people were killed and nine others wounded after a bus collided with a truck in northern Bangladeshi district of Bogra, said police on Monday.
The accident took place at Mirzapur market area of Sherpur sub-district in the early hours of the day.
Officer of Sherpur police station Erfan told newsnextbd.com a Dhaka-bound United Paribahan bus from Rangpur collided head-on with the truck leaving two persons killed on the scene.
Police recovered the bodies and sent them to Bogra Shahid Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. The injured are being treated at the hospital.
