Dhaka – Nearly 67 per cent of students, who appeared in the Higher Secondary Certificate and equivalent exams this year, have come out successful, according to the result published on Thursday.
A total of 858,101 out of a total of 1,288,757 students appeared in this year’s HSC and equivalent examinations under 10 educational boards across Bangladesh are successful.
According to the official record, an average 66.64 percent of examinees passed the exam.
Of them, 29,262 candidates scored maximum grade point average GPA-5 this year, the education ministry sources said today. A total of 11, 83,686 examinees appeared in the HSC and equivalent examinations last year.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid handed over the official result of the HSC and equivalent exams to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the morning.
