Dhaka – Bangladesh has appointed three more ministers and promoted a junior one as a full minister on the New Year, officials said on Tuesday.
President Abdul Hamid administered their oath of the office at Bangabhaban.
State Minister for Fisheries and Livestock Narayon Chandra Chanda was made full minister.
AKM Shahjahan Kamal of Laxmipur and ICT specialist and President of Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) Mustafa Jabbar were sworn in as ministers.
Jabbar was made a technocrat minister.
Ruling party Awami League lawmaker Kazi Keramat Ali of Rajbari was sworn in as a state minister.
The oath-taking ceremony was held Tuesday at the Darbar Hall of the Bangabhaban. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and several of her cabinet colleagues attended the swearing in ceremony.
