Dhaka – A businessman who remained missing for nearly three months has returned home, family said.
Unidentified group of people left Aniruddha Kumar Roy, managing director of RMM Group and honorary consul of Belarus in Dhaka, in front of his home early hours of Thursday, a relative of the businessman told local media.
Aniruddha was allegedly abducted by a group of people from Dhaka’s Gulshan area on August 27 when he came out of a bank in the diplomatic area.
It was not clear who left the abducted businessman in front of his home.
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal told media recently that the spy agencies were working hard to trace the people who had gone missing in the past months. He also expressed optimism that his police force would be able to find those missing persons out.
At least 10 persons, including a private university teacher, have gone missing from the Dhaka since August 22.
