Saudi Arabia road mishap kills two Bangladeshi

Dhaka – Two Bangladeshi nationals were killed in a road mishap in Saudi Arabia, said Bangladesh foreign ministry officials.

The accident took place at the Hayil province of Saudi Arabia on Wednesday night, leaving Abul Khayer, a resident of Raipur sub-district in Lakshmipur, and Dulal Hossain, a resident of Sonaimuri sub-district in Noakhali. One person sustained injuries.

The injured whose identity could not be known yet, was undergoing treatment at a hospital in the country.

Dulal Hossain was travelling from Hayil along with two other passengers, while the accident occurred in Dilhan area of Tabuq at about 10:45pm local time and left two dead on the spot, according to the media reports.

The bodies were kept at a hospital morgue at the Hayil province of the country, said Bangladesh mission office in Saudi Arabia.

Confirming the incident, Bangladesh foreign ministry officials said their bodies will be brought back home soon after the completion of the procedure.
