Dhaka- Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday opened the newly-constructed office complex of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) in Dhaka.
The 10-storyed building was inaugurated at the city’s Agargaon of Sher-e-Bangla Nagar.
Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith and SEC Chairman M Khairul Hossain were present on the occasion, among others.
The office building of the stock market regulatory body has been constructed at a cost of Tk 60 crore.
Hasina laid the foundation stone of the building on November 24, 2013.
The fully-air conditioned BSEC building is expected to play an important role in increasing the efficiency of the officials and employees of the SEC side by side with enhancing dignity of the institution.
